Capabilities
Behind every mandate there is technical work we also offer on its own when a company needs it before a transaction: the financial model a committee will read, the valuation that will withstand a negotiation, the information organized the way a buyer will audit it, and the financial leadership a process demands while the team keeps running the business.
When to call G2
- You need a three-statement financial model with scenarios before talking to investors or lenders.
- You need an independent valuation for a negotiation between shareholders, an option grant or a transaction.
- You are about to enter due diligence and want to arrive with financial, legal and operating information in order.
- You are in the middle of a transaction and have no CFO to carry it without neglecting operations.
Four capabilities we also offer on their own
- Financial modelling three-statement model, scenarios, capital needs and sensitivities
- Valuation trading comparables, precedent transactions and discounted cash flows, with a defensible range
- Due diligence preparation information review, data room, responses and a list of findings to fix
- Strategic CFO in transaction financial leadership during the process, reporting to the board and investors
Frequently asked questions
Do these capabilities replace a full mandate?
No. They are pieces of the work we do in a mandate, offered separately when the company needs to prepare before starting a process or when it is running the process with another adviser.
How do you charge?
A fixed fee per deliverable for modelling, valuation and due diligence preparation, and a monthly retainer for the strategic CFO in transaction role.
How long does a model or a valuation take?
Between three and six weeks depending on the quality of historical information and the complexity of the business.
