Frequently asked questions

How are your fees structured?

A monthly retainer during preparation and the process, plus a success fee on transaction value. In buy-side mandates the success fee is calculated on the value of the acquisition closed.

Do you require exclusivity?

Yes. A sale process demands a single channel of communication with buyers and a single owner of the information; without exclusivity, confidentiality and competition among buyers are lost.

What documentation do you need?

Audited or reviewed financial statements for the last three years, monthly management information, material customer and supplier contracts, corporate documents and the cap table.

How long does a sale take?

Between sixteen and twenty-six weeks from signing the mandate to closing. Transactions involving regulated entities or antitrust approvals add the regulator’s timeline.

Do you work with international buyers?

Yes. The buyer universe includes strategics and financial sponsors in Mexico, Latin America, the United States and Europe, and materials are prepared in Spanish and English.
