On 11 and 12 February 2026, Lebane, an Argentine project management platform for real estate developers founded in 2023, announced a USD 4 million seed round co-led by Atlántico and Zacua Ventures. The transaction matters for Mexico because the proceeds are directed at consolidating the company’s expansion in the country, where it already has 60 customers, and because it is the period’s round in developer software with an explicit focus on the Mexican market.
The transaction
- Parties. Atlántico and Zacua Ventures as co-leads; Fen Ventures, ADN.vc, Kuiper VC and Galicia Ventures as participants (LatamList, 12 February 2026; Contxto, 12 February 2026).
- Instrument and amount. USD 4 million in seed capital. Valuation not disclosed.
- Product. Accounting, contracts and inventory for real estate projects on an artificial intelligence-native platform that operates through WhatsApp.
- Metrics. More than 300 customers, 60 of them in Mexico; 45 employees; founded in 2023.
- Use of proceeds. Consolidate the expansion in Mexico and develop financial products on top of the platform (Startups Latam, 11 February 2026).
Value drivers
Verifiable traction in three years. More than 300 developers as customers since 2023 is the basis of the round. In our reading, a seed fund pays for the speed of adoption in a segment, mid-sized developers, that has historically managed its projects in spreadsheets.
WhatsApp as the interface. Operating through the channel the developer already uses lowers the cost of adoption and training. In our reading, it is the product decision that explains the expansion to 60 customers in Mexico without a large local sales structure; the sources do not detail the team in the country.
Financial products as a second line. The platform sees the accounting, contracts and inventory of each project: the data a lender needs to finance construction or pre-sales. In our reading, the use of proceeds points to monetising that information through credit, the line that would justify a Series A.
A syndicate of six funds. Two co-leads and four participants in a USD 4 million seed round spread the risk and widen access to follow-on capital; the sources do not disclose governance terms or the valuation.
What the market is signalling
The US reference in the segment is Higharc, a design-to-construction platform for homebuilders that closed a USD 95 million Series C led by Insight Partners on 30 June 2026, with more than USD 170 million raised to date and with materials distributors and manufacturers among its investors. In our reading, the distance between USD 4 million and USD 170 million marks the path of capital available to vertical construction software when results in margin and construction time are measurable.
For Mexican founders, Lebane shows that a regional competitor can enter the country with capital from Latin American funds and an interface with a low cost of adoption. For local investors, that the developer software category is still financed at seed stage and that regional strategic buyers, such as Habi after buying Pulppo in 2026, are already acquiring software with embedded financing.
G2’s reading for a mandate
A developer software company preparing a Series A in Mexico should document retention per customer, revenue per project and the volume of construction and pre-sales that flows through the platform, because that volume is the basis of the financial product the lead investor will want to fund. We recommend separating, from the term sheet onwards, the company’s equity from the funding of the credit products, so that a future venture debt or private credit line is not subordinated to the round’s preferences.
